SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises identified from the very outset the impasse resulting from the 6 May elections that led to the abject failure of the efforts to form a viable government.
Given the current state of affairs, the only healthy way out was recourse to elections once again. Ignoring the factor of popular sentiment would have been dangerous both politically and socially.
Those with knowledge and a conscience are aware that the country is on the razor’s edge; they are deeply concerned. But political normalcy, social cohesion and our European prospects can have only one real guarantor: the Greek people
